We welcome students of all ages and experience levels- from complete beginners discovering music for the first time to advanced students preparing for performances, auditions, recordings, or examinations.
Formal private lessons typically begin around age four or five, depending on the child’s readiness and development. If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, we would be happy to discuss the best place to begin.

Yes! A 30-minute trial lesson is $37.50 and gives the student an opportunity to meet their coach, explore the instrument, and experience our teaching approach.
Registration and studio policies must be completed before the trial lesson.
If you decide not to continue, please let us know within 48 hours of the trial. Otherwise, we will assume you are excited to begin and will reserve the agreed-upon weekly lesson time.
After confirming your registration, we will prorate your tuition for the rest of the month and add on your one-time registration fee of $40 which covers all of the administration, music printing, and your very own tempo club tote bag, notebook and binder.

We consider the student’s age, goals, musical interests, personality, schedule, and preferred learning style. Every coach brings their own perspective and strengths, and we work collaboratively to help each student find the right fit.
Students are always welcome to try another coach or request a change. There are never any hard feelings- we want every student to feel comfortable, supported, and excited to come to lessons.
